Mackas Pastoral: Advancing Sustainable Agriculture Practices with Agricore

At Agricore, we're a modern-day agronomy business that focuses on bringing value to growers by providing technical expertise with a boots-on-the-ground approach. We aim to increase productivity and profitability to help growers and producers be their farming best.

Recently, we had the opportunity to work closely with Mackas Pastoral to implement sustainable land management and farming practices that maximise the quality of Macka's Black Angus Beef. Macka's Pastoral is a premier Black Angus operation located on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia. With access to some of the most fertile clay loams and waterways on the east coast of NSW, Macka's has high-quality pastures for their cattle.

Despite this advantage, the Macka's team had concerns about the transparency and control of their data, as well as the sustainability of the land. So they engaged Agricore to provide our Fieldcore service and independent agronomic advice.

Engaging with Agricore's Fieldcore service meant we could collect, manage and analyse data on Macka's soil health and weather patterns. They now have complete control of their data, which allows them to make more informed decisions about their operation and farming practices.

Our team of experts worked closely with Macka’s to develop customised management plans to meet their specific needs and goals. We provided regular on-site consultations and soil testing to optimise sustainability practices.

Thanks to our partnership, Macka's was able to advance its sustainable agriculture practices and produce high-quality pastures while minimising their environmental impact. It's always encouraging to see businesses taking sustainability seriously and implementing practices that prioritise the health of the environment. We're glad to have been a part of Macka's journey towards sustainable agriculture.
